Today starts “summer hours” at work… The office closes at 1! Add to that the Monday holiday and this is a good weekend indeed!

A busy one too. A zombie musical, a wedding, a drive-in and a parade (marching, not attending).

Speaking of… I can’t remember the last time I watched a parade. I march in a number of them every year but never watch. Which is sad sometimes, since I don’t get to see the other groups.

Zombie musical… yup. You read that right. In Waltham even.

Today was a scary, scary Easter… We went on a walk around Cambridge before dinner, and were shocked at what we saw!

Having seen a number of zombie movies, I knew that I immediately had to take shelter behind a small, unstable plastic barrier!

But soon they caught on!

I made a run for it, but no matter where I went, they followed!

So yeah… today was one of the Boston Zombie Walks… these happen a few times a year. People get together, dress up like zombies, and shamble around a public place relatively unannounced. This one was a walk down Mass Ave from Davis to Harvard.

There were some GREAT undead stumbling around today. I’ve got a ton of pictures in my Flickr account:

Definitely a good time, and a great way to get in the holiday spirit!!
